Diagnosis

Flagellum short with prominent longitudinal sensillae; eyes small, DE/DO = 5.7; mesoscutum black with metallic blue tinges with raised and weak reticulation, midlobe with posterior ½ with engraved reticulation; scutellum metallic dark purple with engraved and very weak reticulation; female gaster short, MM/LG = 0.9. Similar to peltruchus but with smaller and smooth 1^st gastral tergite.
